Mrs Kilborn has been leading our PD Sessions. Topic is on enhancing professional practice a frame work for teaching by Charlotte Danielson. This particular framework will be used to evaluate teachers next year so she wanted to make sure that we are aware of its contents. I like the book. I have been reading and do see the value in this framework. I see its practical use and am planning to implement it to improve my teaching practice. I I learned to simplify and and learn to focus few areas of my practice. Yesterday or this week I focus on management of the class. I wanted a smooth transition so I made sure that soon as follows entry classroom procedure. This starts with journal entry and ready to learn attitude as I take care of non instructional businesses like attendance and signing forms.
