The biggest difference between last year's SLO and this year's SLO is that there is triangulation of date for both pre (readiness) and post (EOI) assessments.
Through the process, I learned about my access to longitudinal data for my students. I used HSA science score from their 8th grade year for one of my readiness data. In addition, we as a department was able to adapt a new assessment format for writing conclusion, RERUN. It is simple and students seem to adapt pretty fast. I think having this consistency will help them write better conclusions hence lab report.
As I look back there is some tweaking needed for one of the end of interval assessment, Assessment #2. It was a flag for me because everyone score 4. If I am using the same assessment again next year, I would need to change the scoring range.
All in all, the conference went smooth. I turned in the following documents: SLO (with result), Scoring Sheet, Readiness data, Formative assessment (data team result), and EOI assessment result.
