I have done Labs1-8 in one form or another in teaching my biology classes in the past years but I rarely did acitivities that are similar to Labs 9-12. Hence, I was very glad that we did all 12 lab exercises. Moreover I was in the best lab group ever. We had "textbook" results. Right, guys? Erin, Mindy, and Renee? :-)
In addition, we learned the format of the AP exam and how they were graded. AP biology exam not only covers materials in depth but also in breadth. I thought,"wow, that's a lot to review" but I am also looking forward to a new challege. Hopefully Jill will join me in this journey and team teach with me. The workshop was definitely worth my time and money.
