Monsanto Awards $1000 for Biotechnology Class
Yay, Monsanto Hawaii has again been so generous to grant $1000 to purchase Vernier electrophoresis bioimaging system. With the system, not only we can take pictures of the gel after running DNA fragments but we can also graph on computer to identify fragment sizes. Hooray. Last year Monsanto granted $1000 to help fund the science olympiad competition. This year, they are helping with our biotechnology class. I think we received Monsanto grant almost every year ($1000-$2000). Application process is really very simple. I have the link on the side bar if you are interested in applying. Grant applications are reviewed twice a year. Thank you Monsanto for your contribution to our children's future.
