Yay, we, Balwin High School, took 2nd place at the second annual Maui regionals. We are so happy to go to the state tourney which is held at Leeward Community College (last year it will be held there due to the inreased participation of students).
Following students competed:
Skyler Mendoza, Seo-Yeon Orite, Sidra Jabbar, Danae Olaso, Rachel Pascual, Kevin Hanscam, and Justin Ohta
We competed in six of the seven events and won in the following events:
1st in Human Anatomy and Physiology; 1st in Astronomy; 1st in Chemistry Lab; and 3rd in Diseases Detective (epidemiology)
