Mentor Level I Training Completion - Analyzing Students Work

When mentor training was suggested by Mrs. Kilborn, I was little hesitant but it has been one of the best workshop series I have ever attended.  They offered a lot of ways to help beginning teachers in instruction, observation, and student work evaluation.  I am looking forward to working with a mentee, beginning teacher, next school year.

In the last session, we learned how to analyze student work with our mentee.  Due to the extensive amount of time needed to analyze student work, it was suggested that we do this maybe twice a year.  It was suggested that analysis of student work can be done to complete SLO.  This will alleviate some work for the new teacher.
