DKG Scholarship - High School 2014

     I have been a member of DKG since 2008.  DKG, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, is a professional honorary Society of women educators.  The Society promotes professional and personal growth of its members and excellence in education.  JoAnn Oshiro oversees scholarship committee and I serve on the scholarship committee along with a few other DKG members/teachers at Baldwin High School.  This year we selected one high school student, Jessa Emmerich from Lahainaluna High School, to be awarded $1000 in pursuing her dream of becoming an educator.  We had a great pool of candidates and it was great to see many bright young men and women pursuing the most rewarding profession in the world.  :-)
